Advantest Participates in the Cleaning Activity
in the Yahata Higashida District, Kitakyushu City

On October 4th, seven employees from Advantest Corporation and Advantest Kyushu Systems Co., Ltd. participated in a cleaning activity at the Kitakyushu R&D Center (located in Yahatahigashi Ward, Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture).
This cleaning activity was organized by the Yahata Higashida Town Development Liaison Group. The Kitakyushu R&D Center has already participated in this cleaning activity for thirteen times since the launch of this activity. 167 people from 40 organizations, including the corporations located in the Yahata Higashida district, took part in this year. The participants were divided into four teams and cleaned up about 4km of the roadside of the highway.
By seeing a huge pile of trash collected in an hour, the participants enjoyed the sense of accomplishment with a refreshing feeling by contributing to the beautification of the town.
The Kitakyushu R&D Center will continue to actively take part in the activities that would contribute to our local society in the future.
