A Nature Watching Event at Gunma R&D Center's Biotope
July 30, 2010
On July 5th, a nature watching event was held for children from a neighboring primary school at the biotope in the Gunma R&D Center (Meiwa-machi, Ora-gun, Gunma-ken).

Sixty-four kids in the first grade of the Meiwa Township Nishi Primary School joined the event this time, and they enjoyed crawfishing, insect collecting and grass picking. Many living creatures such as smaller longheaded locusts, swallowtail butterflies and ladybugs make their habitats in the biotope in July. The pupils learned about environment by capturing insects, carefully observing the plants and interacting with nature.

Advantest will continue to hold nature watching events in the future and will make contributions to our community by providing an educational support for the next generation.
