Advantest Group Organizes Environmental Lectures

As one of the group-wide initiatives, the Advantest Group has been actively involved with environmental activities. Since the increase of the employees' environmental awareness would be essential to reinforcement of the environmental activities, the group offers lectures on environment every year.
The number of sites for the environmental lectures was increased from one location to three locations, including Gunma R&D Center, Otone R&D Center and Advantest Lab, this year. An environmental film on the subject of global warming was shown during the environmental lectures held on separate days of October 22nd, October 30th and November 5th, and five hundred employees from the Advantest Group attended those lectures.
The participants' responses to feedback questionnaires after each environmental lecture included the following: "It reminded me of what a company should do to prevent global warming," and "I want to contribute to the reduction of CO2 by promoting energy-saving activities at home as well." These lectures certainly became a good opportunity for everyone to learn about our environment.
