Advantest America, Inc. Renovates Homes for Low-income Residents and Makes a Donation

As part of its corporate social responsibility, Advantest America, Inc. (AAI) has been engaged in home renovation projects by working with Rebuilding Together Silicon Valley. Rebuilding Together is a non-profit organization that rehabilitates houses of low-income, senior, and disabled homeowners free of charge. AAI has been part of these projects since 2005.
On October 23rd, ten employees from AAI volunteered to join the activities. Together with 150 volunteers from other companies, they renovated houses of more than seventeen households in Mobile Home Park, San Jose. A mobile home is a towable house on wheels. Although it can be purchased at a low price, it is also prone to damages caused by hurricanes, etc. Some mobile home owners continue to live in their damaged homes, simply because they cannot afford to renovate them.
AAI also donated 5,000 dollars to Rebuilding Together Silicon Valley. This donation will be used to purchase equipment needed for many projects for social contributions.
AAI will continue to actively participate in the social contribution programs in the future.
