Cherry-Blossom Viewing Events in the Premise of
Gunma Factory No.2

Approximately 50 cherry trees are planted in the premise of Gunma Factory No. 2 (Ora-machi, Ora-gun, Gunma-ken), and their magnificent flowers bloom every spring.
Since we received a request from our neighborhood nursing-care insurance facility for the elderly for viewing the cherry blossoms in our premise this year, we accepted their tours over three days on March 30th, April 4th and April 7th.
The days were blessed with fine weather, and we saw the visitors gazing up the cherry blossoms in full bloom from their wheel chairs. Other visitors were also reaching out to the petals of the blossoms while enjoying their strolls in the premise.
A total of 90 residents and staff joined the cherry-blossom viewing events in those three days. We received their comments such as "I'm so happy to be able to see such beautiful cherry blossoms," and "I'm thrilled."
