Advantest (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. Donates Used Laptops
April 17, 2009
Testimonial
On March 6th, Advantest (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. (ASP) donated 10 used laptops to The Salvation Army.

The Salvation Army is an organization which engages with social welfare services. At The Salvation Army, donated used PCs are sold with reasonable prices through the networks of a social company, called The Red Shield Industries (RSI) Family Thrift Stores. The proceeds from the sales are used as the funds for the Army's activities and social action programs.

The objectives of these donation activities were to facilitate reuse of used PCs, which had their hard disks removed for security reasons but are still in good condition, and to contribute to our society.

ASP will continue to be part of these activities in the future.
