On March 12th, Advantest Taiwan Inc. (ATI) participated in the tree-planting activities hosted by the government on Taiwan.
In order to let our children, who are the foundations of our future, take over our beautiful natural environment, Taiwan has been holding large-scale environmental events and activities, such as World Environment Day, Tree-Planting Day, Bird Week, etc., nationwide every year since the 1980s.
The government on Taiwan designated March 12th, 2009, as this year's Tree-Planting Day and has provided the citizens with free seedlings. ATI, on that day, participated in the activities and planted the seedlings of Osmanthus Fragrans (sweet olives), Michelia figo (banana shrubs), Loxora Chinensis (Chinese ixoras), etc., in the park near the office.
To hand over the abundant green of nature to the next generation, ATI wants to continue its participation in the environmental protection activities and to contribute to the aspiration of filling our land with green in the future.
