Advantest Taiwan Inc. Donates Used Books

On February 5th, 2009, Advantest Taiwan Inc. (ATI) donated used books to the WPA (World Peace Association), a non-profit organization, to support their effort of delivering education to children.
The WPA is an organization established with the purpose of providing children from the families in need with a better educational environment to foster their well-being.
ATI supports the aims of the WPA and took part in its donation program this time. A total of 100 used books were collected after the donation calls were made to the ATI employees. These activities not only have the aspect of social contribution but also can lead to further environmental activities by making an effective use of old books, which would have been discarded otherwise, wherever they are needed.
ATI will continue to promote its CSR activities that achieve a good balance between our society and the environment.
