Lectures to our Employees on Environment
September 26, 2008
On September 9th, Advantest provided its employees with lectures on environment with the objectives to increase environmental awareness and promote environmental activities.

The theme of these lectures was set up as "Global Warming," because we received a lot of requests for education on global warming. This was also the most significant theme during the Toyako Summit, which took place in Hokkaido in July 2008. Our employees in charge of environment provided the environmental education and showed a movie on environment during this event.

More than 500 employees attended the lectures. The attendees commented that "I want to face the global environmental problems seriously and think what I can do in our business activities," and "I want all my family to be engaged with environmentally conscious activities in our daily lives." These lectures provided a great opportunity for us to remind ourselves again on seriousness of the environmental problems and take an action on them.
