Participated in the 530 Campaign at Kumagaya Factory
July 25, 2008
Advantest Manufacturing, Inc. (AMI), which is based at Kumagaya Factory (Kumagaya-shi, Saitama-ken), held a cleaning activity in the area around the office on June 20th.

This cleaning activity is carried out twice a year as part of the "530 (zero gomi *) Campaign," held by the Citizens' Council of Community Development in the City of Kumagaya. AMI takes part in this project every year and devotes itself to environmental preservation and social contribution.

22 AMI employees participated in this activity this time. They picked up trash around Kumagaya Factory and collected a bag full of combustible trash and a bag full of non-combustible trash.

We will continue to participate in the 530 (zero gomi ) Campaign so that we will be able to promote the "Development of our Clean and Livable Town" and strengthen our communication with the community.

* gomi: means trash in Japanese. It is homonymous with numbers 5 (go) and 3 (mi).
