Cleaning the Areas around the Gunma R&D Center

The total of 55 people from the Advantest Group and the labor union volunteered to participate in the cleaning activity in the areas around the Gunma R&D Center (located in Meiwa-machi, Ora-gun, Gunma Prefecture) in the early morning of June 10th.
The objectives of this activity were to beautify the areas around the facility and make an environmental contribution to the local community as a part of the Environment Month Campaign.
The number of participants in this volunteer activity has been increasing year after year. On June 10th, the participants were separated into four different groups. Each group took a different course of the four routes to clean up along by the hedges. They collected 30 trash bags full of empty cans, PET bottles and others in total.
We aim to work closely with our community to preserve and make a contribution to our environment, and we will continuously engage in cleaning activities in the future.
