Anti-Litter Campaign at Kumagaya Factory
December 14, 2007
On November 22nd, Advantest Manufacturing, Inc. (AMI), based at Advantest's Kumagaya factory in Kumagaya City, Saitama, took part in a clean-up of the area surrounding its operating facilities.

The activities are part of an anti-litter campaign run by Kumagaya City's community development council, and are carried out twice a year.
AMI participates in the campaign each year, to help conserve the environment and to contribute to the local community.

On the day the weather was inclement, with a strong northerly wind, but nonetheless, 21 members of staff participated in the clean-up, collecting trash from around the Kumagaya factory. They collected two bags of trash to be incinerated, one bag of empty cans, and one bag of trash for landfill.

We plan to continue participating in this anti-litter campaign, to help promote the area as a pleasant place to live and work, and to build communications with local people.
