Donation of 14 Old PCs to The Salvation Army
February 16, 2007
During the regular 5s activities at Advantest (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., our IT department identified 14 pieces of old PCs to be disposed. As part of our social contributions under the CSR practice, we decided to donate those 14 PCs to the "The Salvation Army Red Shield Industries".

The Red Shield Industries (RSI) Family Thrift Stores are a social enterprise as well as a serving ministry. The Salvation Army receives donations-in-kind from the public and private companies. In turn, the RSI resells those donated goods at affordable prices through its networks of the Family Thrift Stores. The income from those sales supports The Salvation Army's social and community programs.
