Acquisition of ISO14001 certification by Advantest Taiwan Inc.

In December 2006, Advantest Taiwan Inc. (ATI) acquired the ISO14001 certification prescribed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), becoming the first office to obtain certification among Advantest Group overseas affiliated companies.
ATI was founded in 1990 as a business involved in the sale and maintenance of semiconductors and component test systems.
In June 2006, and aiming for further customer satisfaction improvements and product quality assurance, it acquired ISO9001 certification - a quality management system. In addition, and with the goal of a swift response to environmental regulations and reducing environmental impact, it obtained ISO14001 certification (Certification body: AFAQ-EAQA, Ltd.) in December 2006.
Through the introduction of an environmental management system, employees have come together and by promoting activities to reduce environmental impact, will perform corporate social responsibility.
