Advantest Volunteers Return to Sabah
December 9, 2005
From November 24th to November 27th, Advantest volunteers travelled to Malaysia's Kinarut Eco Forest Park, in Borneo, to plant saplings. This joint project with Fujitsu Corporation, designed to support reforestation and local economic growth, is now in its second year.

On a steep, muddy slope in the rain forest, 11 volunteers from Advantest's Malaysian office and from outside the country worked together with staffers from SAFODA, the Sabah Forestry Development Authority, to plant 1,635 young seraya trees. The sight of the trees we had planted last year filled us with awe at the sheer difficulty of replanting a tropical forest. But, giving up is not the Advantest way. We look forward to returning to Borneo next year.
