1st Science Craft Day Delights Local Elementary Schoolers
November 16, 2005
On Saturday, August 20th, the first Science Craft Day was held at the Gunma R&D Center as part of Advantest's CSR effort.

33 family groups from Meiwa attended, most of them with elementary school children. Our theme was "Build a Crystal Radio, Get Interested in Radio Waves, Electricity, and Making Things!" Everyone completed the project, and soon we could hear children's voices screaming happily, "It works! It works!"

Thanks to all the employees who helped make Science Craft Day a success! We're working on proposals for the next time, to continue awakening children's interest in science.
