ISO14001 is an international standard for environmental management set by the International Standards Organization (ISO), to support industrial and technical development. It provides a detailed "Environmental Management System," which can be applied systematically to various problems.

At Advantest, we have been putting effort into our environmental preservation activities, and in order to keep up the good results, we have made positive efforts to achieve ISO14001 certification at each of our locations.
With integrated certification at all our research, development and manufacturing bases in Japan and head office, we plan to expand environmental management systems further and to strengthen our environmental operations.
Also, in our overseas locations, ISO14001 was newly acquired between April and October in 2008 by six overseas subsidiaries, Advantest Europe GmbH , Advantest (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. , Advantest (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. , Advantest Korea Co., Ltd. , Advantest Engineering (M) Sdn. Bhd. , and Advantest America, Inc.
We hereby have accomplished the acquisition of ISO14001 certification in seven major overseas locations including Advantest Taiwan Inc.
